The information is based on studies commissioned by Investing in Women (IW) that have been analyzing the impact investing landscape in the region since 2007. The data includes investments made by Private Impact Investors (PIIs) such as fund managers, family offices, and foundations, as well as Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) that are government-backed financial institutions supporting development-focused investments.
