IW Women’s SMEs – Skillvul

Jakarta, Indonesia. 3 March 2023. Investing in Women, in partnership with the YCAB Ventures, supported Skilvul to expand the offerings and capabilities of their online platform and services, and to continue to provide innovative solutions in the EdTech market segment in Indonesia. Skilvul is a technology-based education platform that provides blended-learning courses and accreditation aimed at preparing youth for entry level jobs in Indonesia’s burgeoning digital economy. It targets women, as well as people with disabilities, helping them to overcome inadequate work skills resulting poor employment prospects and to become ‘job ready’, ready to face global challenges and the future of work. The company's platform makes use of original content, watch-and-learn videos, animations, and interactive simulations that make learning contextual, visual, and practical, enabling students to receive a personalised educational experience.
