IW Women’s SMEs – Just Go Low Carb

Muntinlupa, Philippines. 2 October 2022. investing in Women, in partnership with the InBest Cap Ventures, supported JustGoLowCarb in activating its operational and market expansion to become a Philippine-made product staple of health-conscious homes across Asian and then global markets. JustGoLowCarb Bakery Product Shop is a food manufacturing company engaged in the production of baked goods that use low carbohydrate ingredients that are preferably locally sourced. The innovative woman-owned start-up develops and produces lowcarb bread, snacks, and treats that target consumers who desire healthier alternatives to sugary foods.

In this photo: Ms. Jeannie gathered her team for the day, two of her sons included, before the hectic hours, to reorient them about the products and special discounts for the National Low Carb Day 2022 event. It was held at the Filinvest Tent in Alabang, Muntinlupa City last October 2, 2022.

Lined up with the cookie scoops are mini cakes with berries, Vegan loaf, muli-seed loaf, berries and nuts loaf, and bagels; Ms. Jeannie fixed the label of cheddar bread rolls while his son waited for customers; Ms. Jeannie’s older son adding one of ther best-sellers, brownie thins, together with several other cookies, granola, crackers and porridge. All products use plant-based ingredients with no table sugar, and good for Keto and low carb diets, with some products friendly for Paleo and Vegan diets as well. This event was held at the Filinvest Tent in Alabang, Muntinlupa City last October 2, 2022 for the National Low Carb Day event.

Born out of her passion in helping her relatives who are diabetic, she started baking for them in 2018, and ventured into developing it as a business in 2019. Her products include snack bites such as cookies, crackers, mini cakes and rolls. She also offers berries and multi-grain loaves, Vegan-friendly loaves, bagels, gluten-free porridge, gluten-free granola, and chocolate and nuts spreads.

These products, along with several snacks and treats, were displayed and sold during the National Low Carb Day 2022 event held at Filinvest Tent in Alabang last October 2, 2022. Beside the rack as well is the Eat Fit Box, their promo item exclusively for the event.

It was the only booth in the event which offered low carb desserts and snacks, and the people were hugely interested. In fact, several of their products were sold out before 12 in the afternoon.
