IW Women’s SME’s – Prime Innov8

Rizal, Philippines. 15 August 2022. Investing in Women with the Foundation for a Sustainable Society, Inc (FSSI), supported Prime Innov8 in expanding its business operations to cater to growing demand for cleaning products as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Based in Rizal, Philippines, Prime Innov8 produces various high-quality industrial cleaning, disinfecting and conditioning laundry products that cater to hospitals, factories, commissaries, slaughterhouses, hotels, schools, resorts, restaurants and residential customers. Since 2013, this female-led company has developed green products to promote environmental care and lessen chemicals used in its production. In partnership with the Government of the Philippines, Prime Innov8 acquires raw materials in bulk to manufacture relevant essential products used against the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Its clients also includes various for various government agencies.

In this photo: Prime Innov8 is a family-run company owned by Mrs. Ma. Cecilia Pajel and Mr. Sadiri Pajel. Mrs. Cecilia is the woman behind Prime Innov8. She is the quality analyst and the head chemist of the company. Her husband, Mr. Sadiri, is the maintenance head. Behind them is their humble facility, where Prime Innov8’s main line of industrial and household products are produced, such as such as liquid soaps, fabric conditioners, and shampoo.

In this photo: The first floor of the Prime Innov8 facility. On the left are drums and sacks of raw materials where the weighing of chemical components usually happens. The middle section is the busiest; it is where the mixing, filling, and packaging for large orders happen simultaneously. Each large container on the far end contains different liquid products. This view is where Mr. Sadiri usually oversees the production—a great vantage point for monitoring and evaluation.

QC inspection

The pH is among the indicators being inspected for good quality. Other values to be inspected include viscosity, fragrance, and color of the product. The pH can also be checked inside the laboratory.
