Investing in Women (IW) supports Business Coalitions (BC) that have been working with influential companies to establish the business case for workplace gender equality (WGE). Workplace gender equality exists when everyone, regardless of gender, can equally access and enjoy resources, opportunities and benefits to thrive and progress at all levels.
These resources provide a comprehensive view of the business case for WGE and its positive impacts on private sector companies and their employees.
The video aims to provide a thorough understanding of WGE in the context of the work of the Business Coalitions. It includes interviews with BC member companies, with insights on how WGE has influenced the way they work and helped their businesses progress.
In 2020, the Philippine Business Coalition for Women Empowerment (PBCWE), a partner of Investing in Women, developed case studies to document experiences of human resource leads and employees and provide significant accomplishments and improvements on the implementation of WGE initiatives of select PBCWE member companies.
