AUSTRALIA is committed to help the Philippines recover from the pandemic as it partnered with the Macquarie Group Foundation to implement an investment program amounting to over P43 million to aid Filipino women who own small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Australian Ambassador to the Philippines Steven Robinson AO on Tuesday led the launching of the Macquarie-Investing in Women RISE Fund to help Filipina entrepreneurs recover from the effects of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic.
The RISE (Responsive Interventions Supporting Entrepreneurs) Fund will support women’s SMEs and help the country to build back better.
