Investing in Wellness at the Workplace
Summary
In 2020, the Philippine Business Coalition for Women Empowerment (PBCWE), a partner of Investing in Women, developed case studies to document experiences of human resource leads and employees and provide significant accomplishments and improvements on the implementation of Workplace Gender Equality (Workplace Gender Equality) initiatives of select PBCWE member companies. This case study, in particular, provides an overview of how the Philippine National Bank (PNB) introduced various support programs to help employees cope with increased stress and anxiety.
Recognising that the employee well-being is one of the keys to the success of the business, the PNB provides its employees equal access to programs that can enhance productivity and improve quality of life. This approach has helped the bank adapt quickly to the challenges formed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
