Program Administrator – Impact Investing (Philippines)

Investing in Women: Women in Inclusive Sustainable Economic Recovery (IW) is a multi-country Australian Government initiative in Southeast Asia that seeks to accelerate women’s economic empowerment through increased and equitable opportunities in the private sector, contributing to inclusive, sustainable economic recovery and growth in targeted countries. About the Opportunity

The Program Administrator for Workstream 4 (W4 – Impact Investing) is responsible for providing administrative support to activities undertaken by the Impact Investing team.  They will work closely with W4’s key partners as well as IW’s Contracts and Procurement Team, HR and Office Services Team, and Short-Term Personnel Consultants.

The Program Administrator will:

  • Support the implementation of the Impact Investing Strategy through partnerships.
  • Liaise with the HR and Contracts & Procurement teams on STP engagements, procurement needs, partners, subcontractors, translators; follow through on contract creation, variation, closure, deliverables, and facilitation of payments.
  • Proactively monitor partner compliance, performance, and risks, regularly reporting to line manager.
  • In consultation with the Workstream Director and Technical Lead, develop and implement systems, tools, and/or templates to facilitate project management and monitoring.
  • Manage the team’s record keeping, ensuring an efficient and effective system for storage and retrieval of files.
  • Provide logistical support to team meetings and events.
  • Contribute to the team’s reporting by providing input as necessary.
  • Perform other relevant tasks for the team, as requested.

Employment type and location:A citizen role, but open to others who have legal right to work in country under a local compensation package. Based in Manila, Philippines.

Duration:  Three (3) years, up to 30 June 2027; anticipated to commence in April 2024.

Key Selection Criteria

For your application to be considered by the Panel, interested applicants must submit a response to each of the following Key Selection Criteria (KSC):

  • KSC 1: Tertiary education in Administration/Management, Social Studies, Communication, Business or other equivalent fields.
  • KSC 2: At least 3 years of relevant experience in administration, operations, or project management in the development/development finance or private sector, with good working knowledge of related computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • KSC 3:Strong organisational, time management and coordination skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as part of a multicultural and dispersed team.
  • KSC 4:Excellent oral and written communication in English

Other requirements

  • Knowledge of project management principles and experience in working on development projects is an asset.
  • Understanding of and commitment to gender equality and IW program goals.
