Regina is the Senior MEL Advisor for IW’s Pathway 3 – Influencing Gender Norms. As Senior Advisor, Regina assists the MEL Director track IW progress and implement the IW MEL system, through design, managing and reporting on MEL activities for Pathway 3 (or across IW pathways, as needed). This lead technical role includes responsibility for primary and secondary data analysis and user-appropriate reporting. The Senior Advisor contributes to the production of MEL reports and dissemination of analysis and findings around progress towards program outcomes.
Regina has over 15 years’ experience in research and development in the Philippines focusing on intersections of gender, sustainable development, and social inclusion in public policy and governance. She has worked with projects supported by DFAT, USAID, UN-FAO, Save the Children, Caritas Switzerland, GIZ, and other international development organisations in partnership with local governments, civil society organisations and the private sector. Before joining IW in 2022, Regina worked as Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting and Learning (MERL) Specialist for TEAM UP, Australia’s flagship sports for development program implemented in six Pacific Island Countries.
Regina has a PhD in Public Policy and Governance from the Australian National University. She also holds a master’s degree in Development Studies specialisation Women, Gender, & Development from the International Institute of Social Studies-Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Hague, The Netherlands.
