Women in the Workplace 2019| Insights

McKinsey & Company, in partnership with LeanIn.Org., has surveyed close to 600 companies and more than a quarter of a million people, and conducted more than 100 in-depth one-on-one interviews, since it began research on the experiences and conditions of women in the workplace in 2015. The result is the annual Women in the Workplace report, which provides a comprehensive analysis of the state of women in corporate jobs in the United States.

Separate from the actual report, this paper looks back on data and insights gathered in the last five years to see how companies have progressed, and which areas require more effort.
